Lia Spitfire is the CEO of Spit Enterprises. Spit Spoken Word Lounge is a spoken word venue within the virtual platform of Second Life. She owns and manages the Spit Lounge, hosts the biweekly shows and also reads her poetry at each event.

 

A writer since the first grade, when she passed a note to a boy asking him if he liked her, urging him to check yes or no. When he checked “no” and passed it back that night her first poem was born. Though she was too shy to do anything with it, she was already inlove with the way expressing herself on paper made her feel, and it was something she longed to experience over and over again.

 

A published and bestselling author of seven books, in her 1st life, Lia is working to bridge the gap of her two worlds and open a virtual ebook store in Second Life. At present her focus is the themed poetry events, workshops, and soon a dating show to bring together single intellectuals inworld: Spit’s Parental Control.

 

She is a divorced single mother of one, exceptionally intelligent, and creative with a mind like not many others. Lia is very laidback and easy to talk to on any subject. She actually tries hard not to “spit fire” but it is often brought out by the ignorance, selfishness, and the greed of others, so in the written word form she does just that… spits fire.
